Champagne and bubbles have a nice way of making even the ordinary feel like a special occasion.
Something about that fizz as you lift a glass and take the first, bright sip, brings an air of something fun going on — A party. A celebration.
In the Champagne wine region in France, there are three predominant grape varieties — Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay. They account for 99.7% of the wine region's grapes. That’s where all this good stuff comes from.
We encourage you to bring your ordinary, or special occasion, to trübistro. We have a nice variety of Champagnes, and other bubbles to fit your taste and budget. We carry Blanc de Blanc, which is 100% Chardonnay, a favorite for those who prefer an oaky Chardonnay. And outside of the Champagne region, we carry Proseccos, and Cava as well. We are happy to walk you through all of your choices and provide more details.
We asked our manager and wine expert, Janice, who simply LOVES bubbles, what is her personal fave, and she says,
“Sparkling Rosé, And we have a great one under $25 in our bottleshop, Gruet, from New Mexico, which, I think carries just the right amount of bubbles and fruit.”
